PILATES - stability and inner strenght

The Pilates method is good for both recreational and professional athletes – anyone can benefit!

Pilates has an amazing influence on how your body looks, feels and works. The exercisesmainly focus on stretching, relaxing and tensing muscles, with the aim of improving flexibility, strength, balance and awareness of your body. The power of Pilates is in what’s known as the powerhouse (core muscles). These are the abdominal muscles, primarily the deep ones that are not activated in classic crunches or sit-ups.

Pilates can give you the figure you’ve always wanted. Your body becomes fitter, more supple and younger, while your movements become increasingly graceful. As the basis for other physical activities, it is the ideal way to take up a sport or when you return to training after a break. The effects are visible both when you’re doing other exercises and in your
daily life.

The exercises are also used to keep your spine in good condition, melting away back pain and providing excellent “prehabilitation”, since it’s well known that prevention is better than cure. Joseph Pilates himself was convinced that you’re only as old as your spine; if your spine is stiff at 30, you’re old, whereas if it’s completely flexible at 60, you’re young.

The feeling of lightness and strength you’ll have after each session will set you up for the
whole day!

“I must be right. The whole country, the whole world should be doing my exercises. They’d be happier.”
